Abstract
The effect of the palladium concentration profile on selectivity and acetyl ene conversion for selective acetylene hydrogenation process is investigate d. A mathematical simulation method of industrial selective hydrogenation r eactor operating conditions was used. Employing of catalyst pellets with a narrow active layer in outer part of the pellet only is recommended.
