Abstract
We developed an asynchronous transfer mode-based environment for distribute d musical rehearsals in an immersive teleconference environment. This artic le describes the technical specifications of the installations and the orga nization and studio setup of these rehearsals. We present our implementatio n of the environment and give the results obtained from the organized distr ibuted musical rehearsal trials.
