Abstract
The cross-polarization characteristics of a probe-fed hemispherical dielect ric resonator antenna are studied theoretically. The mode-matching method w as used to find the exact antenna Green's functions rigorously. The effects of the dielectric constant, probe length, and probe displacement on the cr oss-polarization level are examined.
