Abstract
In this paper we report the synthesis of main-chain oligomeric cyclopallada ted azobenzene complexes. The approach we followed was focused on the synth esis of difunctional azo-ligands substituted properly with terminal polymer isable OH groups, synthesis of cyclopalladated monomers and polycondensatio n reaction with acid chlorides as comonomers. In this way, using the interf acial method, two soluble cyclopalladated oligomers P1 and P2 were synthesi sed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
