Abstract
The paper is devoted to the probabilistic homogenisation of the heat conduc tion problem in the two-component composite materials. The probabilistic mo ments of the effective conductivities are computed by the use of the Monte- Carlo simulation computational technique. The procedure improved tested on the example of the fibre-reinforced composite and the stochastic sensitivit y with respect to the fibre volume is shown. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
