The magnetocrystalline anisotropy and magnetic structure of DyFe12-xMox (1.
00 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 3.00) have been investigat
ed in detail by X-ray diffraction, thermomagnetic analysis, AC magnetic sus
ceptibility, singular point detection technique and angular-magnetization m
easurement. A magnetic phase diagram of DyFe12-xMox (1.00 less than or equa
l to x less than or equal to 3.00) has been proposed. At room temperature,
all DyFe12-xMox compounds exhibit uniaxial anisotropy. At low temperature,
a spin reorientation transition of axis-to-cone was observed for DyFe12-xMo
x compounds with low Mo concentration, x<2.00. The spin reorientation tempe
rature decreases with increasing Mo concentration. For DyFe12-xMox compound
s with high Mo concentration, magnetohistory effects were observed below 48
