Abstract
This experiment was undertaken to study the intensity of coffee leaf r ust in the cultivar << Catuai Yellow >> with different levels of fruit s on the trees. The evaluation was done on four plagiotropic branches on four positions in the tree, north, south, east and west, on the low er, medium and upper parts of the plants in Vega de Aza and Veracruz, Tachira State, Venezuela. It was found that the production significant ly affected the severity of coffee leaf rust and the proportion of fal len leaves. No significant effect was detected in the proportion of fa llen leaves affected with rust.
