A new unique description of a class of amorphous (and liquid) alloys is pre
sented. We treat these alloys as composed of three interacting subsystems,
namely electrons, static structure and dynamic exitations. Resonances betwe
en these subsystems determine the stability and give rise to new quasiparti
cles. Electronic as well as dynamic transport anomalies arise. (C) 1999 Els
