Abstract
Half-woolen textile materials used in automobiles were investigated for the resistance to fungi. Textile structure and fiber composition, as well as s pecies content of inhabiting fungi were studied. Micromycetes that colonize textile materials during their storage were identified. Aspergillus ustus and Penicillium aurantiogriseum were found to dominate. Serge and reps text ile materials showed the highest level of resistance to fungi.
