Abstract
Aspects of Marangoni convection induced by heating from below are reviewed. A Lorenz like model for Marangoni convection with finite wave number in la rge aspect ratio situation has been constructed. We have got limit cycles. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
