We present a direct measurement of the parity-violating asymmetry A(b) in t
he Z(0) to <b(b)over bar> coupling using a new technique to distinguish the
b and b quarks using charged kaons from B decays. The Z(0) bosons are prod
uced in e(+)e(-) collisions at the SLC with longitudinally polarized electr
ons. <b(b)over bar> events are selected using a secondary vertex mass tag a
nd Ab is determined from the left-right forward-backward asymmetry. From th
e 1994-1995 data sample, selected from 100 000 hadronic Z(0) decays, we obt
ain A(b) = 0.855 +/- 0.088(stat) +/- 0.102(syst).
