Abstract
In this paper we shall develop a new method for the computation of eigenval ues of singular Sturm-Liouville problems of the Bessel type. This new metho d is based on the interpolation of a boundary function in Paley-Wiener spac es. Numerical results are provided to illustrate the method. 1991 Mathemati cs subject classification: 34L15.
