Lp. Lazareva et al., Electrochemical behavior of hydrazine, triethylamine, and diethylamine at carbon electrodes, RUSS J ELEC, 35(8), 1999, pp. 909-911
The electrochemical oxidation of hydrazine, triethylamine, and diethylamine
at glassy-carbon and fibrous-carbon electrodes is investigated by differen
tial voltammetry. At transition from a smooth electrode to a fibrous one th
e oxidation potential of hydrazine and amine derivatives drops by 20-60 mV.
The electrode-struction of compounds at the fibrous material yields ecolog
ically safe products, which allows this sorbent to be used in waste water p
urification devices.
