Abstract
We report the application of a manifold system which is attached to sapheno us vein grafts after the completion of distal coronary anastomosis. This te chnique permits not only the direct delivery of cardioplegic solution into the distal coronary artery, but also the reperfusion of revascularized coro nary arteries via saphenous vein grafts by changing the connection to the a rterial circuit during proximal anastomosis under a partial occlusion of th e aorta in conventional coronary artery bypass surgery.
