Abstract
Recent efforts in these laboratories have resulted in the development of a synthetic approach to C(7) alkyl analogs in the K252a class of indolocarbaz ole natural products. Synthesis of 7-(R)-methyl K252a (3a) and 7-(S)-methyl K252a (3b) will be described along with their activity against protein tyr osine kinases.
