Abstract
A case of chloral hydrate overdose causing resistant ventricular arrhythmia s is presented. Our case and other case reports suggest that chloral hydrat e-induced arrhythmias are resistant to standard antiarrhythmic agents and t hat intravenous beta blockers should be the firstline treat ment for these arrhythmias.
