Abstract
Two new naphthoquinones, 8-[(2'E)-3',7'-dimethylocta-2',6'-dienyl]-2,7-dihy droxynaphthalene-1,4-dione (1) and 2-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-3-methylnaphthal ene-1,4-dione (2), and one known naphthoquinone, (+)-teretifolione-B (3), w ere isolated from the roots of Conospermum sphacelatum Hook. (Proteaceae) c ollected in central Queensland. The structures of compounds (1) and (2) wer e determined by spectroscopic analysis.
