STANDARD POTENTIALS OF ELECTRODES CONTAINING SILVER SALTS AND BAND-STRUCTURE OF THE SALTS

The correlation between the standard electrochemical potentials of ele ctrodes of the second kind containing univalent silver salts and the b and structure of these salts is investigated. Position of the bandgap edges of the silver salts is shown to depend, to the first approximati on, on the electrochemical potentials of decomposition of the salts to silver and free halides and sulfur.
