Abstract
A new method for the numerical computation of the dynamic behaviour of elec trodynamic loudspeakers is presented. The numerical scheme, based on the fi nite element method (FEM), allows the simulation of coupled magnetic, mecha nical and acoustic fields. The obtained simulation results ave in good agre ement with measured data.
