Abstract
Here reported are the first applications of methylalumoxane, an oligomeric compound of formula (MeAlO)(n), as a catalyst for the epoxidation of allyli c alcohols and the oxidation of benzylic, aliphatic (cyclic and linear) alc ohols into the corresponding carbonyl compounds.
