The magnetic and structural properties of Nd-Fe-B powders prepared via hydr
ogen decrepitation and the performance parameters of the magnets produced f
rom these powders were studied. Hydrogen decrepitation, combined with vibra
tion and disintegrator milling, can be useful in the production of permanen
t magnets since it reduces the particle size of the powder, improves the pe
rformance of the sintered magnets, and raises the effectiveness of the fabr
ication of permanent magnets.
