Abstract
An interface fracture specimen for measuring the fracture toughness of adhe sively bonded joints is proposed. It is found to represent a wide range of mode mixity. The specimen is calibrated assuming LEFM conditions and the li mit of validity of this calibration as the load increases is also assessed.
