A procedure for the determination of anions on a conventional high-performa
nce liquid chromatograph with a UV detector and a reversed-phase column use
d for the analysis of different environmental materials is optimized. The v
olume of a water sample for the analysis is 50-100 mu L; the procedure is s
uitable for the determination of anions in atmospheric aerosol and in void
water of bottom sediments. The procedure can be used under conditions of fi
eld and mobile laboratories to perform analyses at sampling sites.
