Abstract
A boy presented with hypertension, seizures, lethargy, headache, and o ccipital blindness. He improved with antihypertensive therapy. Other r eported children with a similar distinctive clinical condition are com pared with adults with a syndrome termed reversible posterior leukoenc ephalopathy. Because both gray and white matter are involved, we sugge st that the name be changed to occipital-parietal encephalopathy syndr ome. (C) 1997 by Elsevier Science Inc.
