Abstract
Extraction of actinides like neptunium, plutonium and americium have been p erformed using polyphosphine polyoxides. Phosphorus compounds with (O)PCP(O ) linkage exhibit very high liquid-liquid extraction properties. They demon strate also quantitative and selective transport properties of some actinid es by supported liquid membrane (SLM) technology.
