Abstract
Rupture of atheromatous plaques leading to acute coronary syndromes us ually occur in lipid-reach and well-developed coronary lesions. We des cribe 2 unusual patients with acute coronary syndromes in whom there w as angiographic and intravascular ultrasound evidence of an intralumin al thrombus overlying a small, nonocclusive plaque in an enlarged coro nary artery.
