Abstract
In the fall of 1996 Abo, Decker and Sasakura [ADS] discovered smooth ellipt ic conic bundles in P-4. They show that these surfaces all arise as degener acy loci of four sections of a fixed rank five vector bundle on P-4. In par ticular the family of elliptic conic bundles in P-4 is irreducible.
