A new trigonotarbid arachnid from the Upper Carboniferous (Stephanian B) is
referred to Aphantomartus areolatus POCOCK, 1911. Another poorly preserved
specimen from this locality is referred to Trigonotarbus sp. A previously
unrecognised cuticle ornament of tiny tubercles is described on the dorsal
surface of Aphantomartus areolatus.
