Abstract
The nuclear capture of antiprotons from atomic states is studied. New measu rements of level shifts and widths of deuterium are analysed and compared w ith similar results obtained in heavy nuclei. Some properties of antiproton nucleus interactions are outlined, a comparison of cold and total capture modes is done.
