Allocated imperfections of developed convective structures

The appearance and rearrangement of dissipative structures - imperfect patt erns, have been examined by the example of convection between rigid horizon tal plates poorly conducting heat (the Proctor-Sivashinsky model). It is sh own that a sequence of structural transitions from uniform state to convect ive rolls, than to square cells and finally to cells with embedded allocate d defects takes place as a result of a cascade of instabilities.
