Abstract
The fluctuations and dynamic characteristics of an Nd:YAG monolithic ring l aser with a nonplanar configuration of the cavity placed in a magnetic fiel d were investigated experimentally and theoretically. A vector model of a s olid-state ring laser was developed, It takes into account the characterist ic features of the interaction of elliptically polarised counterpropagating waves in an anisotropic cavity and is consistent with experimental results .
