Abstract
The kinetics of sedimentation of a kaolin suspension in the presence of par tially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (flocculant) and aluminum sulfate (coagula nt) was studied as influenced by the concentrations of the flocculant, coag ulant, and kaolin, chemical composition of the flocculant, and procedure an d time of its addition in the suspension.
