Abstract
Impaired endothelium-dependent, flow-mediated dilatation of the brachial ar tery was observed in a 50-year-old premenopausal female non-smoker with idi opathic hemochromatosis. Endothelial dysfunction observed in this patient s upports a relationship between body iron stores and early atherosclerotic p rocess.
