Abstract
Greenhouse experiments were conducted to determine the effects of infested soybean-residue placement, size and residue density on the development of b rown stem rot caused by Phialophora gregata. Results showed that incidence and severity decreased significantly with decrease in residue size and with increase in depth of placement but the three residue densities used had no significant effects on the disease.
