Differentiated services IP is the recently proposed internet protocol that
provides service discrimination by packet-based treatment. It differs from
the integrated service IP and its RSVP protocol in that per-flow state and
signalling do not need to be maintained on every hop. This paper investigat

mance evaluation is given by the IP simulator QUIPS. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scie
