Abstract
The cholinesterase-reaction method was used to detect the nerves in th e cardiac valves in rats aged 1 day-20 months. The morphometric study showed that maximum innervation of the valves was reached in 1-3 month s of the life. The flap valves contained more nerves than the semiluna r ones. In the old animals the number of nerve fibers in valves decrea sed noticeably.
