Abstract
The synthesis of [(CH3)(4)N](4)TeI8, [(C6H5)(4)As](2)TeI4 and [(C6H5)(4)Sb] (2)TeI4 are reported along with modified synthesis of [(C2H5)(4)N](2)TeI6. Synthesis and characterisation of new anionic complexes of (CH3)(2)TeI2 of the type [R4M][(CH3)(2)TeI2X] [R=C2H5; C6H5; M=N, P, Sb and X=Cl, Br, I] on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductance, molecular weights, IR and H-1 NMR data are described.
