microsporidia, and Toxoplasma gondii, adn cyanobacterial toxins. To help t
he water quality specialist, this report describes the virus, protozoan, or
toxin; reviews its health effects; summarizes information on its occurrenc
e, waterborne outbreaks, and water treatment; discusses analytical procedur
es; and outlines needed research.
