Abstract
Electron impact mass spectra of six isomeric compounds, namely perezon e, isoperezone, alpha-pipitzol, beta-pipitzol, beta-isopipitzol and di hydroisoperezinone have been recorded, The proposed fragmentation path ways leading to the formation of a number of important daughter ions h ave been confirmed from the corresponding parent ion spectra by collis ion-induced dissociation (CID) experiments, The elemental composition of the principal fragment ions was determined by accurate mass measure ments.
