Abstract
Undoped polycrystalline tin oxide sintered in the temperature range 500-100 0 degrees C has been comprehensively characterized with respect to its resp onse to CO, methane and H-2. Results obtained at an operating temperature o f 300 degrees C show that increasing the sintering temperature leads to a g radual increase in CO sensitivity which reaches a maximum after sintering a t 800 degrees C.
