A parallel data acquisition system has been developed for the study of elec
tron impact ionization of atoms and molecules. The system has a large data
storage capacity providing good experimental resolution and system flexibil
ity. The system is used to collect and analyze data from electron momentum
spectroscopy experiment. Results from electron momentum spectroscopy experi
ments on C4H10 molecules, at an incident energy of 1200 eV, are presented t
