Abstract
Current developments in nuclear structure are discussed from a theoretical
perspective. The studies of the nuclear many-body system provide us with in
valuable information about the nature of the nuclear interaction, nucleonic
correlations at various energy-distance scales, and the modes of the nucle
onic matter.
