Polarization studies of low-frequency Raman spectra of solid p-dichlorobenz
ene/p-bromochlorobenzene solutions are performed at different percent compo
sitions of the components. The broadening of several lines was observed in
solutions containing 75% of p-dichlorobenzene. The widths of lines related
to orientation vibrations around the axis with the mean inertia moment show
anomalous behavior. Several additional low-intensity lines are detected. T
he experimental results are explained on the basis of calculating the histo
grams of solid solutions by the Din method.
