Abstract
Using polarization microscopy and Raman scattering, we have discovered a ne w phase transition in the layered perovskite crystal CsScF4 under a hydrost atic pressure around 6 GPa. The proposed space group of the high-pressure p hase is C-2h(2), Z=4. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S1063-7834(9 9)03109-3].
