Abstract
BACKGROUND: The neurological complications related to boxing include dement ia. Boxer's dementia is generally associated with severe motor impairment. CASE REPORT: A former professional boxer presented dementia with no motor s igns. The diagnostic discussion was based an clinical observations;and neur opsychological and supplementary explorations, and eliminated all other eti ological hypotheses. DISCUSSION: This case draws attention to the possibility of cognitive disor ders without motor impairment in the neurological complications of boxing.
