Abstract
Holyrines A (4) and B (5), two new members of the indolocarbazole class of alkaloids, have been isolated from cultures of a marine actinomycete and th eir structures elucidated by spectroscopic analysis. The holyrines are poss ible intermediates in the biosynthesis of staurosporine (1). (C) 1999 Elsev ier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
