Abstract
A novel methodology is developed for a 'one-pot' synthesis of 4,5-dihydrois oxazoles. 1-Sodio 3,5-dichloro-s-triazine-2,4,6-trione, alumina, dichlorome thane, arylaldoximes, dipolarophiles and ultrasound irradiation are the lea ding ingredients in the success of this selective reaction. All heterocycle s are obtained with good yields and high purity by comparison with classica l stirring in the same conditions. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All right s reserved.
