Abstract
Loose and rolling angles of repose of uncompacted ground marigold petals we re measured as function of particle size (0.37, 0.57, and 0.80 mm), moistur e content (3.5 and 14.8% dry basis) and flow enhancer addition (1-35% of Tr icalcium phosphate - TCP). Larger particles had higher angles of repose. Th e effect of moisture content was not significant. Adding as little as 1% TC P reduced the angles of repose of ground marigold petals by 3 degrees. Roll ing angle of repose was 10 degrees to 15 degrees higher than the loose angl e of repose.
