Abstract
Two sewer workers contracted hepatitis C. The epidemiological literature in which sewer-contaminated water is described as a known vector for outbreak s of hepatitis C, as well as the specific occupational history of the two p atients described here, suggest that sewer workers may be at increased risk of contracting hepatitis C.
