Abstract
Semisynthetic derivatives were prepared from two natural annonaceous acetog enins, rolliniastatin-1 and squamocin, and their cytotoxicity was evaluated . Amino derivatives show decreased bioactivity. Isorolliniastatin-1 was fou nd to be much less toxic than rolliniastatin-1 after intraperitoneal admini stration to mice, although the in vitro cytotoxicity of both compounds was comparable (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
